The story behind the porch

Bringing homemade
back to the table.

Peanut’s Porch was created from a simple dream: bringing homemade, wholesome food back to the table.

When my daughter Jolene was born 10 weeks early, her journey changed the way I thought about the food I served my family. It wasn’t about being perfect or restrictive—it was about choosing simple, wholesome ingredients I could trust and feel good about sharing.

From homemade granola and nostalgic childhood treats to seasonal baked goods, everything here is made with quality ingredients, a little nostalgia, and a whole lot of love.

My hope is to remind you of simpler days—when food was made from scratch, shared with neighbors, and brought families together.

Meet the heart behind it

Good food. Familiar feelings.

A taste of the homemade life

A better kind of crunch

Our signature small-batch granolas bring comforting flavors to breakfast bowls, yogurt, or a handful straight from the bag.

Slow Sunday mornings

Home-style buttermilk pancake mix for warm, fluffy pancakes and a few more moments together around the table.

More goodness growing

Smoked nuts and more kitchen projects are in the works. Follow along for what’s coming to the porch.

Mother. Nurse. Maker.

Hi, I’m Daria.

I’m Daria Novak—a mother of two, a registered nurse, and the heart behind Peanut’s Porch. Caring for others has always been part of who I am.

My daughter arrived 10 weeks early, earning the nickname “Peanut” for her tiny size. As I helped her grow and thrive, I started swapping store-bought favorites for homemade recipes made with ingredients I felt good about.

Soon, friends and family were asking for their favorites again and again. Peanut’s Porch became another way for me to care for people—one recipe, one batch, and one bag at a time.

From our porch to yours, welcome to Peanut’s Porch.

There’s always room at our table
